Cox Enterprises in Statesville, NC is hiring for a production-based detail technician. Compensation is paid per task and may include commissions or incentives.

Primary duties include cleaning, buffing, and detailing vehicles, both interior and exterior, with attention to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include removing debris, washing, buffing, and detailing, along with basic maintenance tasks and driving when needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
• Medium strength: ability to lift 1-30 pounds.
• Regularly stand, walk, reach, talk, hear; able to climb as needed.

Responsabilités

• Clean out and de-trash interior of vehicles, including trunk and engine bay.
• Remove license plates and window markings as needed for Auction business.
• Wash and detail vehicles; describe and buff surfaces to restore appearance.
• Detail and clean interiors, dash, trim, windows, and wheels with brushes and cleaners.
• Wax, buff, and polish exterior surfaces; clean engine compartment and terminals.
• Vacuum, shampoo, and spot-clean carpets and upholstery; adjust seating as required.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and participate in Safety Excellence activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including driving vehicles to staging areas on sale days.
