Job summary

Cox Automotive - USA is seeking a Detail Technician (Piece) to clean, buff, and detail vehicles at a specified Cox location in a day shift. Pay is production-based, varying by task completed, with potential for additional incentives or commissions. A valid driver’s license is required, and a standard high school education is preferred.

Ideal candidates will be able to stand and move for long periods, lift light items, and perform duties in a busy workshop environment with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Generally, less than 2 years’ experience in a related field.
• Previous experience in detail shop or buffing helpful.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.

Responsibilities

• Clean out and de-trash interior of vehicles and remove debris.
• Remove license plates, stickers and window writings; dismantle spare tires.
• Wash vehicles with high-pressure washer; clean engine and battery terminals.
• Detail vehicles including interior and exterior surfaces; buff and polish.
