Job summary

Cox Enterprises is seeking an Automotive Detailer to thoroughly clean and prep vehicles for sale and delivery. You will remove debris, wash engines, and polish exteriors, while ensuring interior and exterior detailing meets quality standards.

Strong attention to detail and physical stamina are essential for daily duties. Responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment, removing license plates and unwanted markings, and assisting with vehicle movement during sale events.

Qualifications

• Generally, less than 2 years’ experience in a related field.
• Safe drivers required; valid driver’s license.
• Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, squat, and lean for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean out and de-trash interior of vehicles and trunk areas.
• Remove license plates, stickers and extraneous writing from windows.
• Wash vehicles with high-pressure washer or car wash equipment; clean engine compartment.
• Detail vehicles including interior/exterior panels and trim.
• Buff and wax exterior surfaces; dress engine components and wheels.
• Vacuum, shampoo, and spot-clean carpets and upholstery.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and participate in safety activities.
• Assist with moving vehicles and related tasks as needed.
