Qualifications

• Ability to negotiate in varied circumstances.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in computer systems and software.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and assesses damaged vehicles.
• Decides if a vehicle is repairable or a total loss based on damages.
• Runs total loss evaluations as needed.
• Writes estimates using standard automotive labor and parts cost software and repair knowledge.
• Reviews repair cost estimates with automobile repair shops to secure agreement on cost of repairs.
• Communicates with insured and body shops.
