You will run total loss evaluations and write estimates using CCC, Mitchell, and Audatex, collaborating with repair shops and insured parties.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree, and 1–2 years of body shop or insurance experience.
Evaluates and assesses damaged vehicles.
Makes decisions on if the vehicle is repairable or a total loss based on damages.
Runs total loss evaluations as needed on vehicles.
Writes estimates using standard automotive labor and parts cost software and knowledge of automotive repair.
Reviews repair cost estimates with automobile repair shop to secure agreement on cost of repairs.
Communicates with insured and body shops.
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Must have a valid Driver’s License.
1-2 years of body shop or insurance experience.
Knowledge of Estimatics software including CCC, Mitchell, and Audatex.
Ability to negotiate in a variety of circumstances.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including active listening skills.
Effective utilization of computer systems and software.
