Job summary

Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance is seeking an experienced Vehicle Field Adjuster to evaluate damaged vehicles, determine repairability versus total loss, and conduct total loss evaluations as needed.

You will write estimates using CCC, Mitchell, Audatex and coordinate with insureds and repair shops to reach agreement on repair costs while maintaining service quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of body shop or insurance experience.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Knowledge of Estimatics software: CCC, Mitchell, Audatex.
• Strong negotiation abilities in varying circumstances.
• Excellent verbal and written communication including active listening.
• Proficient use of computer systems and software.

• Communicates with insured and body shops.

Knowledge & Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• 1-2 years of body shop or insurance experience.
• Knowledge of Estimatics software including CCC, Mitchell, and Audatex.
• Ability to negotiate in a variety of circumstances.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including active listening skills.
• Effective utilization of computer systems and software.
