Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring for a Claims Team Lead, Auto to supervise multiple examiner teams and support staff handling liability claims. You will oversee workloads, provide training, and guide adjudication reports while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring quality and compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least six years of claims experience with prior supervision, plus solid knowledge of claims management and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Six (6) years of claims experience, including two (2) years claims supervisor experience.
• Thorough knowledge of claims management processes across multiple product lines.
• Excellent oral and written communication, leadership and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises multiple teams of examiners and technical staff for liability claims.
• Monitors workloads, provides training, and offers direction on examiner reports.
• Maintains a diary on claims including complex or high exposure matters.
• Reviews reserve amounts and ensures proper documentation and coding.
• Acts as second level of appeal for client and claimant issues; implements dispositions.
• Ensures compliance with audit, quality standards, and client requirements.
