Qualifications

  • Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
  • Ability to review Property Damage estimates and negotiate first/third party claims.
  • Knowledge of total loss processing and salvage forms is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Processes auto and general liability property damage claims; assesses damage, makes payments and codes files.
  • Develops action plans to meet state contract deadlines and move files toward resolution.
  • Identifies and pursues subrogation opportunities; secures and disposes of salvage.
  • Communicates claim action/processing with insured, client, and agent or broker as appropriate.
  • Maintains professional client relations and collaborates with team.
  • Performs coverage, liability, and damage analysis on all claims assignments.
  • Performs other duties and supports the organization's quality programs.
  • Travels as required.
