Sedgwick, a leading provider of claims solutions in Seven Hills, OH, seeks a Claims Representative for Auto and Property Damage. You will analyze and process claims, determine damages, and coordinate with insureds, clients, and agents to move files toward timely resolutions.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and state adjusting licenses as required, plus strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills. Travel may be required; comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; state adjusting licenses as required.
• Familiarity with auto, general liability, and property damage policies.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities; ability to review damage estimates.

Responsibilities

• Processes auto and general liability property damage claims; assesses damage, makes payments, and ensures claim files are properly documented and correctly coded based on the policy.
• Develops and maintains action plans to meet contract deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identifies and pursues subrogation opportunities; secures and disposes of salvage.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and agent or broker when appropriate.
• Maintains professional client relations.
• Performs coverage, liability, and damage analysis on all claim assignments.
• Travels as required.
• Supports the organization’s quality program(s).
