Job summary

Cox Automotive’s Manheim division is hiring an Auto Claims Specialist I. You will learn to resolve customer complaints, coordinate with multiple departments, and ensure complaints are handled per arbitration guidelines.

The role emphasizes negotiation, attention to detail, and timely communication. A hybrid work option is available, with day shifts and potential for performance-based incentives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Less than 2 years of experience.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt in a fluid environment.

Responsibilities

• Review customer claims to verify adherence to arbitration policies.
• Investigate basic, less complex cases and those requiring prescriptive decision‑making.
• Coordinate with reconditioning, front office, dealer services and others during fact finding.
• Gather and use resources to inspect, document, and communicate for resolution.
• Approve within authorized financial limits to resolve cases.
• Evaluate claims by collecting and validating information.
• Communicate for resolution via phone, email, or in-person.
• Mediates disputes and negotiates repair/pricing to reach a mutual solution.
• Maintain accurate files for arbitration cases and documents.
