Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associates or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain an Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days, where applicable.
• Prior claim handling or business experience in the insurance industry and/or customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages an inventory of low to moderate complexity commercial claims following company protocols.
• Interacts professionally with insureds, claimants and business partners, providing timely updates.
• Verifies coverage and establishes reserves by reviewing policy language and following protocols.
• Investigates to determine liability and negotiates settlements within authority.
• Coordinates with internal/external partners to facilitate best claim outcomes.
• Maintains compliance with state/local regulatory requirements and guidelines.
