Job summary

CNA Insurance is seeking an experienced claims professional to manage commercial auto line claims. The role operates with moderate direction, handling moderate to high complexity and exposure. You will investigate, evaluate, and resolve claims while upholding quality and service standards.

The position offers a flexible, hybrid schedule with two days per week in CNA office locations. A Bachelor's degree, claims experience, and appropriate adjuster licensing are required or pursued within 90 days

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically four years of relevant experience in claim handling.
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days of hire.
• Professional designations such as CPCU are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manages a portfolio of moderate to high complexity commercial claims.
• Investigates, evaluates and resolves claims with quality and timeliness.
• Verifies coverage and reserves by reviewing policy language and collaborating with counsel on complex matters.
• Gathers information from customers, claimants and witnesses to verify facts.
• Maintains relationships with internal and external partners to resolve claims.
• Authorizes disbursements within authority limits and negotiates settlements.
• Identifies subrogation opportunities and potential fraud with relevant teams.
• Ensures compliance with state/local regulations and company guidelines.
