Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain an Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days where applicable.
• Prior claim handling or customer service experience in insurance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages an inventory of low to moderate complexity commercial claims following policy and company protocols.
• Communicates with insureds and business partners to provide timely updates and resolve inquiries.
• Verifies coverage, estimates reserves, and follows claim handling protocols.
• Investigates to determine liability and compensability; takes statements from insureds and witnesses.
• Collaborates with internal and external resources to achieve best claim outcomes.
• Authorizes disbursements within authority limits and escalates when needed.
• Identifies subrogation, salvage, or fraud opportunities and refers for further investigation.
• Ensures compliance with state/local regulations and company guidelines.
