Job summary

CURE Auto Insurance in Detroit, MI (also Princeton, NJ) seeks an experienced Auto Claims Examiner to handle Property and Casualty auto claims. Candidates should have at least 2 years of auto claims experience and a commitment to superior customer service.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years Auto Claims handling experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and provide superior customer service.

Responsibilities

• Investigate validity of claims, evaluate policy coverages, and determine if referrals are warranted.
• Contact policyholders and involved parties to obtain documentation and conduct statements.
• Establish reserves and adjust as needed through completion of claims.
• Negotiate settlements and issue accurate payments.
• Identify fraud indicators and alert Special Investigation Unit when applicable.
• Maintain organized diary system to ensure timely claim handling.
• Adhere to state/local regulations and company guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
