CURE Auto Insurance is seeking an experienced Auto Claims Handler to investigate, evaluate, and settle claims across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. The role requires at least 2 years of auto claims handling experience and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years Auto Claims handling experience.
• Clear and professional communication with customers via phone and written correspondence.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent analytical, investigative, and settlement abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Investigate claim validity, evaluate coverages, and determine need for SIU referrals.
• Set expectations, plan action, and follow company guidelines throughout the claim.
• Make prompt contact with policyholders and involved parties to gather documentation.
• Establish initial reserves and adjust as needed through completion of claims.
• Negotiate timely settlements with claimants, attorneys, or other parties and issue payments.
• Identify red flags and potential fraud indicators and alert SIU when applicable.
• Maintain organized diary system to ensure timely handling of all claims.
• Adhere to NJ/PA/MI Unfair Claims Practices guidelines.
