Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking an Auto Physical Damage Adjuster – Service Claims for a hybrid schedule with two days in the office at select locations, including Richmond, VA. The role manages moderately complex service claims from intake to resolution, communicates with insureds and third parties, and maintains accurate claim data.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate degree; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent experience.
• Typically 3–4 years of auto claim-handling experience.
• Guidewire experience is a plus; proficient with MS Office and internet tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of moderately complex auto service claims from intake through resolution.
• Conduct thorough investigations, assess liability, and evaluate damages.
• Coordinate with underwriting, legal, and other stakeholders; maintain compliant documentation.
