Risk Theory is seeking an Auto Claims Representative for the Dealer Open Lot in Dallas, TX. The role handles first-party auto damage claims from notice of loss through settlement, with a focus on customer service and file quality.

Responsibilities include investigating claims, liaising with policyholders and experts, and applying policy guidelines to determine damages and coverage. Strong Excel/Word proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of Auto Physical Damage claims experience.
• Commercial auto experience is preferred but not required.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Directly handle assigned claims. (Desk Position).
• Provide quality customer service and ensure file quality, timely coverage analysis, and communication with the insured based on the policy information.
• Directly investigate each claim through prompt contact with policyholders, accounts, law enforcement, witnesses, agents, and technical experts to determine damages and contribution potential.
• Verify the nature and extent of property damage by obtaining and reviewing records and damage documentation.
• Represent the company as a technical resource and act within professional guidelines and state laws.
• Apply established file management protocols and metrics to all claims and document any deviations.
