Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Florida offers a 30‑day hands‑on experience program with progression to an 18‑month Technician Development Program. You’ll work with an experienced tech on dent removal, sanding and painting, learning proper tool use and safety practices.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, are at least 18, can lift 50 pounds, and can stand for long periods while contributing to a high‑quality repair team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Some on-the-job experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• I-CAR Gold Class preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing basic auto body repairs under supervision of experienced technicians.
• Learn to use and maintain tools and equipment safely.
• Participate in vehicle inspections to identify damages and plan repairs.
• Collaborate with team to complete projects within timelines and quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a clean and organized workplace.
• Support mentors in daily tasks and training activities.
