Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States seeks an Auto Body Technician responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle assessment and high-quality repairs to restore pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles and serve as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.

Key duties include planning repairs, generating cost estimates, realigning frames, replacing damaged parts and glass, welding and repainting, and ensuring work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship required.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass, or interior parts as needed.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint vehicles to factory specs or equivalent.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality and safety.
