Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Lexington, SC is seeking an Auto Body Technician who delivers an exceptional customer experience by meticulously repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars while aligning with speed, quality and service goals and representing the brand on every job.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and may have completed technical school or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers using appropriate tools.
• Repair dents with fillers or other methods as needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace or repair damaged sections and glass as required.
• Weld and fit parts, repaint vehicles to spec.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect results.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
