Gerber Collision & Glass in Columbia, SC is seeking an Auto Body Technician to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition through precise disassembly, repair, and reassembly. You will work with a team to meet KPIs and uphold our WOW Operating Way, delivering speed, quality and customer excellence.

A high school diploma or equivalent plus technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship are required, with strong toolbox skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completed technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship.
• Ability to read job orders and work with limited supervision.
• Understanding of auto body repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Realign chassis, replace parts, and repaint as required.
• Ensure work meets labor time guidelines and inspect for quality.
• Collaborate with team members to meet KPIs.
