Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in South Carolina is hiring an Auto Body Technician to ensure exceptional customer experience through meticulous vehicle repairs and alignment with our speed and quality standards. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and repaint vehicles using a range of tools, while collaborating with teammates to meet KPI targets and uphold our Brand Ambassador promise.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and completed technical training or a 3-year

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plans the repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers using various tools.
• Hammers out dents and repairs minor body damage; applies filler resins when needed.
• Realigns car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Removes damaged sections and replaces with new or aftermarket parts; repairs glass and windshields.
• Welds and attaches parts; prepares and repaints vehicles with factory or equivalent finishes.
• Completes work orders within labor time guidelines and inspects vehicles after repair.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
