Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass seeks an Auto Body Technician to repair vehicles and deliver exceptional customer experiences by ensuring top quality and speed. You’ll disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars using industry tools, while collaborating with teammates to meet KPI goals and uphold the brand promise.

Responsibilities include planning repair work, handling cost estimates, removing damaged sections, replacing parts, welding, and repainting to factory specs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Broad understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies and use required tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair dents, replace parts, weld and repaint vehicles as needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
