Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Longmont, CO is seeking an Auto Body Technician to accurately assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, replacing damaged sections with parts and refinishing as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or apprenticeship. You will work with a team to meet KPIs and ensure quality, safety, and customer satisfaction on every job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform repairs in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare repair work and cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts and repair glass as needed.
• Weld and fit parts, then repaint vehicles to factory specifications.
• Ensure work orders are completed within labor time guidelines and inspect finished work.
