Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through precise assessment and high-quality repairs. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, ensuring alignment with our speed, quality and customer-excellence promises.

You will work with a team to meet KPIs, following the WOW operating plan, and you may be involved in cost estimation, part replacement, and final inspection to confirm workmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret job orders with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of vehicle body repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently and efficiently.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and repair/replace glass and interior parts.
• Weld and fit parts; prep and repaint to factory specs.
• Complete work within labor time guidelines and inspect finished work.
