Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience by meticulously repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars while collaborating with teammates to meet KPIs and uphold the WOW Operating Way.

The role requires reading job orders, using specialized tools like cutting guns and plasma cutters, and restoring vehicles to factory specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship as auto body repairer preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of vehicle body repair methods and proper use of tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replace or repair glass, interior parts, and paint finishes.
• Ensure work orders are completed within labor time guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repairs to ensure quality and safety.
