Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Bristol, VA is seeking an Auto Body Technician to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition through careful assessment and quality repairs. Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship.
Ability to read job orders and work with little supervision.
Thorough understanding of repairing vehicle bodies and using trade tools.

Responsibilities

Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
Realign chassis, replace parts and glass, and repaint to factory specs.
Ensure work meets labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
