Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous repair and restoration of vehicles after accidents. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and refinish cars while upholding speed, quality and customer excellence as part of a dedicated team.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, estimating costs, realigning structures, repairing or replacing parts and glass, and ensuring work meets KPI targets.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret job orders and repair plans.
• Strong understanding of body repair methods and procedures.
• Proficient use of common auto body tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan and repair sequencing per guidelines.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass as needed.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint to factory specs or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect finished work.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
