Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous assessment and high-quality vehicle repairs, restoring pre-accident condition while upholding our KPI-driven standards.

You will disassemble, repair, reassemble vehicles, align frames, replace parts, weld and repaint to factory specifications, and collaborate with a team to ensure speed, quality, and customer excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program completion or 3-year apprenticeship required.
• Ability to read job orders with little supervision.
• Strong understanding of vehicle repair methods and proper tool use.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plans the repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers; uses tools to repair sections.
• Realigns car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Removes damaged sections and replaces with new parts; replaces or repairs glass and windshields.
• Welds and prepares/repaints vehicles to factory specifications.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines; inspect vehicles after repair.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
