Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass seeks an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair and quality restoration. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and align components to pre-accident condition, while upholding speed, quality, and customer excellence across the shop.

You will collaborate with teammates to meet KPIs, use cutting tools and body repair techniques, and ensure work meets safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret job orders and work with others in a shop.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW plan is executed consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates; use tools to repair vehicles.
• Hammer out dents and apply fillers when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; repair interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fasten parts; repaint vehicles to factory specs.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect finished work.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
