Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Milwaukie, Oregon is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous assessment and quality repair of vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.

You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, aligning with KPIs and acting as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group. The role requires technical training and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks to repair panels.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replace/repair glass, windshields, and interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; prepare and repaint to spec.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repair for quality.
