Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver meticulous vehicle repairs and an exceptional customer experience, restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and ensure quality while aligning with our brand promise of speed and excellence.

Responsibilities include estimating repair scope, using specialized tools, realigning frames, replacing parts, and painting with factory specs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school or 3-year apprenticeship or completion of a relevant program preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins as needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replace or repair glass, windshields, and interior parts.
• Weld and fit parts, then prepare and repaint vehicles.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
