Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences by accurately assessing and repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will work with a team to disassemble, repair, reassemble, and refinish cars, contributing to speed, quality, and customer excellence across service KPIs.

Qualifications

• The candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and may have a technical program or apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced shop.
• Strong knowledge of repair methods and the tools used in auto body work.

Responsibilities

• Execute the WOW plan and plan required repairs with cost estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis/frames and replace damaged parts and glass as needed.
• Weld, fit parts, and apply paint per factory specs or equivalents.
• Inspect repairs to ensure quality and completeness within labor time guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
