Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Wisconsin seeks an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience by accurately assessing and repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair and reassemble, collaborating with the team to meet KPIs and uphold the brand promise of speed, quality and customer excellence.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a technical program or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program completion OR a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates using various tools.
• Repair dents with fillers when needed and restore vehicle surfaces.
• Realign car chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace or repair damaged sections, glass, and interior parts.
• Weld and fit parts, and prepaint vehicles to factory specs or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect final work.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
