Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician in Oshkosh to deliver an exceptional customer experience through precise assessment and quality repair, restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition. You disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while aligning with our KPI-driven, team-focused environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and either a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work with other repairers in a shop.
• Thorough understanding of repair methods for vehicle bodies.
• Thorough understanding of the tools required for the trade.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer estimates using tools.
• Repair dents and apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint to factory specs or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
