Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, upholding speed, quality, and customer excellence as part of the WOW operating approach.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent, with optional technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Repair vehicle bodies using tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, and pliers.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replace or repair glass, interiors, and apply paint as needed.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect finished vehicles.
