Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repairs, restoring pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while maintaining speed, quality, and customer excellence as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, using shop tools, realigning frames, replacing parts and glass, welding and painting, and ensuring work orders meet labor targets

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of a technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare estimates for customers.
• Repair body panels with cutting tools, plasma cutters, and hammers.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; repair interior parts.
• Weld and reassemble parts; repaint vehicles to spec.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect repairs.
