Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to provide top-tier customer experience through meticulous assessment and quality repair, restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, while upholding speed, quality, and customer excellence as a Brand Ambassador of The Boyd Group.

The role requires performing repairs, aligning frames, replacing parts, and painting to spec, with KPI-driven responsibilities and ongoing training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of tools and methods to repair vehicle bodies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair dents, dings, and other body damage; apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace or repair damaged sections and glass, and repaint to factory specs.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality and compliance.
