Job summary

The Boyd Group Services in Wichita, Kansas is seeking an Auto Body Technician to accurately assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars while upholding speed, quality and customer excellence in a fast-paced shop.

You will use cutting tools, weld, and paint to restore vehicles, aiming to meet KPIs and act as a Brand Ambassador. A high school diploma or equivalent and a technical program or 3-year apprenticeship are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plans the repair work and prepares cost estimates using tools to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammers dents and applies filler resins as needed.
• Realigns chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replaces damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repairs glass and interior parts.
• Welds and mounts parts; repaints vehicles per factory specs.
• Completes work orders within labor guidelines and inspects vehicles after repair.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
