Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through meticulous assessment and quality repair, restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition. You disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while aligning with the team to hit KPIs and uphold our Brand Ambassador standards.

The role emphasizes speed, quality and customer excellence, requiring use of cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and paints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair vehicle bodies using cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers and pliers.
• Realign car chassis/frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new/aftermarket parts; fix glass and interiors as needed.
• Weld and reattach parts; paint vehicles with factory or equivalent finishes.
• Meet labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
