Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair, restoration to pre-accident condition, and collaboration with team members to meet KPIs. The role emphasizes speed, quality, and customer excellence in a fast-paced collision and glass service setting.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing vehicles, realigning chassis, replacing parts, and ensuring work meets factory standards and time guidelines,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship completed.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Ability to work with other repairers within an auto body shop.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers using various tools.
• Repair dents and body damage; apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and repair glass, interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint vehicles to factory specs or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect for quality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
