Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Imperial, MO is hiring an Auto Body Technician to repair vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars, align frames, replace damaged parts, and paint finishes according to factory specs.

You’ll work with teammates to meet KPIs and deliver top-tier customer service. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Able to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Experience in auto body repair and knowledge of repair tools.
• Must lift up to 30 pounds and work in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; perform painting as needed.
• Ensure work orders meet labor time guidelines and inspect finished vehicles.
