Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Florida (DeLand) is seeking an Auto Body Technician who delivers an exceptional customer experience by accurately assessing and repairing vehicles to return them to pre-accident condition. You will collaborate with the team to meet KPIs and embody the Boyd Group brand.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, using cutting tools, realigning frames, replacing parts and glass, welding, and repainting to factory specs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or apprenticeship completed preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace or repair damaged parts and glass as needed.
• Weld and repaint vehicles to factory specs.
• Inspect vehicles to ensure work meets quality standards.
• Perform duties as assigned.
