Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer service by precisely repairing vehicles and restoring them to pre-accident condition. The role emphasizes speed, quality, and teamwork within a busy collision repair environment.

You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, maintain alignment with KPI targets, and act as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a technical program or a 3-year apprenticeship is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow job orders with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other repairers in the shop.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repairs and prepare customer cost estimates using shop tools.
• Repair dents with fillers when needed and restore vehicle panels.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass as required.
• Repair or replace interior parts and reassemble components.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint to factory or agreed standards.
• Complete work orders within labor guidelines and verify repairs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
