Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver top-tier customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repairs. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition while upholding speed, quality, and customer excellence.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, estimating costs, using tools to fix body damage, realigning frames, replacing components, welding, painting, and inspecting finished work to ensure high standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work with other repairers within an auto body shop.
• Thorough understanding of repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW plan execution.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Repair dents and body damage using fillers as needed.
• Realign chassis and frames after repairs.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; repaint vehicles.
• Weld and fit parts; ensure work orders meet labor guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
