Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass seeks an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences by meticulously repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars, aligning with the team to meet KPIs and uphold the Brand Ambassador standard.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical schooling or a 3-year apprenticeship. Strong reading of job orders and repair-tool proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work with other repairers within an auto body shop.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan consistently.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers using various tools.
• Repair dents, dimples, and minor body damage and apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and repair glass, interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint vehicles to factory specs or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect for quality.
