Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair to return cars to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, collaborating with the team to meet KPIs and uphold the brand promise of speed, quality, and customer excellence.

The role requires reading job orders, using a variety of tools, and a strong understanding of repair methods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Execute the WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates using cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, and pliers.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins when other methods are not feasible.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; inspect vehicles after repair.
