Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to expertly assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, using cutting tools, welders, and fillers while ensuring quality and speed in our WOW-driven repair process.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, preparing estimates, and ensuring work meets labor-time guidelines. Painstaking attention to detail and teamwork are essential in a high-volume shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Thorough understanding of repair methods and required tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles per specifications.
• Replace glass, windshields, and interior components as needed.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint vehicles to factory specs.
