Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through meticulous vehicle repair and restoration to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while collaborating with the team to meet speed, quality, and customer-excellence standards.

In this role you will plan repairs, prepare estimates, use tools like cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks and grinders, and ensure work meets labor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship completed.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW plan is executed consistently.
• Plan repairs and prepare customer cost estimates using appropriate tools.
• Hammer out dents, apply fillers, and repair minor body damage when feasible.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and repair glass, interior parts as needed.
• Weld and attach parts; prep and repaint vehicles per specs.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect work.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
