Gerber Collision & Glass in Ames, IA is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous repair and restoration of vehicles. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and refinish cars, upholding our standards of speed, quality and customer excellence.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a technical program or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship completed.

Responsibilities

• Assess and repair vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles with attention to quality.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass as needed.
• Weld and fit parts, repaint to factory specs.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
